Hereschicago.com was founded by Jim Grillo, CMP (certified meeting planner) to provide meeting planners with knowledgeable and experienced meeting and event suppliers in Chicago. In turn, Hereschicago.com’s mission is to provide meeting and event suppliers cost effective and efficient marketing and business opportunities.
As a former general manager for the largest DMC in Chicago, Jim found that planners needed a good referral source and called upon his expertise on a daily basis. “Planners just wanted a good supplier, but, didn’t want to pay the mark ups we were charging as a DMC”, thus Hereschicago.com was born. “I just made it easier for planners to find suppliers”. Hereschicago.com vendors pay an annual listing fee, thus saving planners money and increasing the likelihood of staying in budget.
Hereschicago.com speaks directly to meeting and event planners by providing them with the necessary tools to educate themselves, provide solutions, and qualify their immediate needs. In turn, Hereschicago.com provides a much more knowledgeable planner when it comes to contacting our vendors. This saves both the supplier and planner time and money!
