A CULINARY ADVENTURE IN NORTHWEST ILLINOIS WITH A NEW KITCHEN AND MODERN FLAVORS MT. CARROLLLearn Great Foods Co. announces the opening of the new Learn Great Foods Kitchen at 320 N. Main in Mt. Carroll, Illinois. This gorgeous space is available for corporate retreats, family re-unions, and girl-friends’ weekend getaways. Learn Great Foods events feature local foods, local farmers, local chefs, and the taste of country cooking, with a modern flavor. Both hands-on and demonstration cooking classes are available for groups from 10-100.The new LGF Kitchen was renovated over a two year period with a substantial grant from US Department of Agriculture, and thousands of volunteer hours from the local community including artists and builders.
In addition, three local Bed & Breakfasts and a 130 year old residential hotel are open to accommodate guests in Mt. Carroll. For youth groups, dorms are available at the historic college campus of Campbell Center.
