Online marketing is one of the most efficient and cost effective ways to get your message found in front of those searching online for what you offer. When someone is searching online, they are actively searching for a specific product of service. If they are searching for your specific product or services, are you being found? If not, you may be using Flash.What is Flash? A "Flash" intro may be on your website. In case you don't already know, Flash intros are those annoying animations that play when you first arrive at some websites. Ok, this is a huge pet peeve, not only mine, but, for most people visiting your website. Stop the things "flying around" on your home page when we visit your site! Technically speaking, it is called "flash". Web designers are artists and love showcasing "their talents" and may create flying images on your home page as it looks "cool".Why you shouldn't use "Flash"? Flash slows down the amount of time it takes to view your website's content and the main reason someone visited your site! Most people are impatient and will not wait to see your website content. Search Engine Optimization: The Flash approach basically slams the door on anyone visiting your website including the "search engines". If the search engine spiders visit your site and see "flash", they will not be able to see your website and index your website. If you can not be found in the search engines, it is like having a beautiful house in the country with no roads leading to it!
