Internet Advertising Revenues Reached Record High in 2007 

  

Internet advertising revenues totaled $21.2 billion in 2007, an increase of 26 percent over 2006’s performance, according to the 2007 Internet Advertising Revenue Report issued by the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) and PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. Fourth-quarter 2007 Internet advertising revenues totaled $5.9 billion, marking an all-time high for a single quarter and a 24-percent increase over the same period in 2006.
  

"This achievement is a testament to the continued vitality of interactive," said Randall Rothenberg, president and CEO of the IAB. "Explosive innovation in the industry is providing marketers with new and unique ways to reach consumers—it's a very exciting time."
