Love at House of Blues
Have you ever thought of the House of Blues Chicago as the setting for a Wedding ceremony, reception or rehearsal dinner? Our spaces are able to offer these traditional events a unique space to make the whole experience an event to remember.
Recently, a wedding ceremony was held in the Foundation Lounge for a couple who originally met at a concert at the House of Blues. Dave and Jen were married in front of the fireplace with their friends and family gathered in the lounge. The reception followed in the Foundation Dining Room.

Granny Smith Apple Crisp Recipe
Graham Cracker Crisp Topping
Ingredients:
Graham Cracker Crumbs 1/2 cup
Brown Sugar 1/2 cup
Ground Cinnamon 1/2 tsp
Ground Nutmeg 1/2 tsp
Butter 1/3 cup
Procedure:
1. Combine ingredients in a mixer and paddle until course.
Granny Smith Apple Crisp Filling
Ingredients:
5 Granny Smith Apples
Butter 8oz.
Light Brown Sugar 5 Tb
Cinnamon 1 tsp
Nutmeg 1 tsp
Lemon Juice 1 Tb
Procedure:
1. In a hot skillet, sauté apples with ½ the butter until golden brown.
2. Add brown sugar and mix until fully dissolved and evenly incorporated.
3. Add remaining butter and season with cinnamon, nutmeg and lemon juice.
4. Cook for additional five minutes and remove from heat.
5. Allow to cool.
Apple Crisp Plating
Ingredients:
Granny Smith Apple filling 3 ounces
Graham Cracker Crust 2 ounces
Procedure:
1. Fill a Brulee cup with Granny Smith Apple Filling.
2. Top With Graham Cracker Crust.
3. Heat in a 375 degree oven for 4 minutes.
